Peoria’s old streets and its new north end do not match

Old Town Peoria and the neighborhoods along Grand are household and small-shop scrap: condensers, copper, a truck that became a parts car. North Peoria, climbing toward the lake, is newer construction and larger garages full of builder leftovers and estate tools.

Access changes with the section. A gravel edge lot and a gated north-end subdivision need different notes. Summer heat means an early pickup window is worth requesting outright.
